1.Installed in the App Store JPEGmini Lite.
2. Use Xcode edit files

~/Library/Containers/com.icvt.JPEGminiLite/Data/Library/Preferences/com.icvt.JPEGminiLite.plist

3.Note the QA key set to -1.

4.Save com.icvt.JPEGminiLite.plist.

works for me, had to edit .plist while program was open, quit it and then i had 3 left and it let me do a huge folder of images

MOUNTAIN LION: hold down ‘option’ key while selecting ‘GO’ on toolbar of desktop…you will see the LIBRARY link pop up…you can access the plist file from there. To edit the plist file look for ‘TEXT WRANGLER’ online…its free.

It works for me exactly just like drugswork said.

SNOW LEOPARD: com.icvt.JPEGminiLite.plist is on User>Library>Preferences
Edit the plist and reopen the program, it warned we had 3 files left but it actually works.

RESETS – on Mountain Lion this plist file will reset for some reason. What you can do is re-edit with TEXTWRANGLER and make a backup copy of the edited plist file. What I did was make an alias copy of the pref folder on my desktop and the plist file is on the desktop so when it resets all I have to do is drag over the edited plist file. I thought about locking the plist file but that might throw errors.

HACK NO GOOD (21st October) – the ‘fix’ worked at first, but the app figures out the plist files gets tampered with. You can engage the hack but later the app will reset it. You can replace the plist file with a hacked one but it looks as if now the app will reference another plist file somewhere else as now even hacking/replacing the original plist file has no effect…I even have the app blocked on my firewall…still the plist hack does not work anymore…this app is too expensive for the little it does and ultimately with today’s robust computers…who really needs to reduce their jpegs?, its actually a contradiction…we don’t need jpeg reduction…in the old days yes…not anymore so its obsolete.

CRASHED MY MAC – (21st October) this app ultimately freaked out and crashed my Mac…I could not log back onto my system…I had to reinstall the entire system…lost all of my personal docs, pics and purchased apps…lucky I kept lic backups…lucky I’m a tech too
